Your Divine Life Purpose

“Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.” -Leo Buscaglia

For the past two years I have been writing about Discovering Your Divine Life Purpose and about learning how to Turn Your Obstacles Into Opportunities.

Each of us have had obstacles and challenges in our lives. Some minor, some major and perhaps some that we thought might break us and that we’d never escape or recover from. Perhaps something significant is coming to mind for you right now. What I have learned through this writing process, as well as through my life experiences, is how our life lessons are incredible gifts. They have the ability to transform our lives.

I’m excited to begin sharing this work publicly. I hope that it inspires you and that this work transforms your life as much as it has mine.

In addition to writing and sharing blog posts, exercises, and inspirational quotes on my photographs, I’ll also be hosting webinars through Zoom.

Please feel free to ask any questions that come to mind, let me know what you’d like to learn or know more about, share what you have learned, what inspires you, how your life has been transformed or anything else related to these topics.

Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey. I’m grateful to be sharing it with you.

“I am in Alignment with my Divine Life Purpose.”

Over the past few months, this phrase has become my new mantra. In addition to sitting down with my Mala and repeating this 108 times, I also repeat it out loud on my morning and evening commute. It’s incredible what happens when we change our thoughts, beliefs, language and actions to positive and loving affirmations. Miracles truly do occur.

The phrase “I am” connects us with our Divinity, our Spirit and the voice of God, which speaks to us through our Intuition. When we are living a life which is in alignment with our Divine Life Purpose, our Soul (the personality that we chose to be in this life) matches our Spirit (our Divine nature, the spark of God which lives inside all of us).

Our Divine Life Purpose is the reason why we chose the particular family, location, time and life lessons that we’ve experienced, for our Soul’s growth. As we discover our Divine Life Purpose through the life lessons that we’ve experienced, we begin to turn the obstacles that we’ve faced into opportunities. As we see glimpses of living a life that is in alignment, life progresses more smoothly and we can see the gift in all experiences, even the challenging ones which have brought us to our knees.

What if every experience that you’ve ever had, especially the major themes throughout your life, are there to bring you closer to God?

The challenges and obstacles that we’ve faced throughout our lives, especially the ones that repeat and never seem to go away, have something important to teach.

It can be and feel extremely frustrating to face the same or a similar challenge throughout your life, especially when it feels that it’s one that you’ve overcome. There is a temptation to think, believe and feel, “there, I don’t need to deal with that anymore!” When the same or a similar experience repeats, it’s an invitation to dive deeper into the lesson, to explore what’s really there.

I invite you to grab your tablet, laptop, journal and pen, or what ever you have close by, and begin to write down the obstacles in your life. Some you may have dealt with years ago and have overcome. Some may be more recent, including ones that you are dealing with currently.

Over the next few weeks we will begin to explore how these obstacles and life lessons are opportunities for our personal and our Soul’s growth.

“If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition is God talking to you.” -Dr. Wayne W Dyer

Throughout our lives there are those moments that prayer, and God, is the only place that we can turn. We may be at the end of our rope, hanging on by a thread, praying for a miracle or it may be a moment of quiet surrender, knowing that we can’t do it all on our own.

What ever your reason, prayer, just like your intuition, is always there for you. In answer to our prayers, we may hear a yes, no or not yet. Sometimes the Divine Guidance that we receive doesn’t look like the answer to our prayers because it comes in the form of work or delay. In order to open yourself up to a new opportunity, you may be guided to release something that has physically, mentally or energetically been a part of your life for a very long time. When you listen to and follow your Intuition, you may learn through an ‘AHA!’ moment just how perfect it was to release what no longer serves you. God’s ‘no’ may be the answer to your prayers and be the blessing that you need.

What are some of the ways that your Intuition is guiding you? What are the peaceful, loving and repetitive messages that you’ve been receiving (and even the ones that you’ve been ignoring)? What prayers have been answered with a yes, a no, or a not yet?
The more that you trust your Intuition, gut instinct, Divine Guidance and the hunches that you receive, the sooner that your prayers will be answered and Miracles will naturally begin to appear in all aspects of your life.
